Phi Lamb has recruitment events each semester in September & February!
​ It is one of our FAVORITE events of the semester because we get to meet YOU!

​ SPRING 2024 RECRUITMENT WILL BE FEBRUARY 7TH AND 8TH FROM 7:30-9PM! LOCATION TBD!

  • Phi Lamb's Recruitment Event happens for 2 nights each semester for about two hours. 
  • We will do a fun activity while we all mingle and get to know each other!
  • During each night you will meet the officers and recruitment team and learn more about Phi Lamb and being a new member.
  • The atmosphere is super casual and relaxed! Don't be stressed! We love getting to know each of you.​

Meeting us

  • Phi Lamb does not hand out bids... YOU CHOOSE US... we don't choose you. :) 
  • If you make the decision to become a new member, during or after recruitment you can sign up for an Introduction. 
  • The intro is just a short chat with the officers to get to know you better and so we can match you with a potential big sister! 

Common q's


Q: "I can't attend recruitment-- can I still join?"
A: 100% YES! We understand that scheduling is tough so you can email or DM us on Instagram. We will give you all of the information you need and you can schedule an introduction with us!

Q: "How much are dues?"
A: Dues are $275 for the 1st semester and $225 each semester after that! We have payment plans available and you can always speak with our treasurer to make sure that Phi Lamb is not a financial burden for you! We never want money to be a reason to not join our sisterhood!

Q: "Do I need to bring anything to Recruitment?"
A: Nope! You are welcome to just show up! We do not require you do any paperwork or sign ups to participate in Recruitment. If you need a ride to the event... let us know and we can pick you up!

Q: "What does New Member process mean?"
A: Being a New Member is a 10-week process that includes a retreat, weekly meetings, weekly prayer groups, and events. 

Q: "How often does Sigma Phi Lambda meet?"
A: New members will come to chapter meetings on Monday nights from 7-8:30, New member education meetings for 1.5 hours on Tuesday nights from 7:30-9, and weekly prayer groups for 1 hour at a group time of your choosing! (We will go over all this info at recruitment!)

Q: "I used to be in a Panhellenic sorority. Can I still join Phi Lamb?"
A: Absolutely! Some of our active members share in that experience! No matter the circumstance, we are happy to have you!

Q: "I am currently in a Panhellenic sorority. Can I still join Phi Lamb?"
A: Unfortunately, dual membership is no longer allowed, but come talk to us about it if you are still interested in joining! 

Q: "How much does it cost to attend recruitment?"
A: Recruitment is absolutely free! 

Q: "Do I have to join if I come to recruitment?"
A: Absolutely not! If you don't think Phi Lamb is a fit for you that is perfectly fine! We are just happy to meet you!
